Revised text to state that the standard approach to radiation therapy involves fractionated external-beam radiation, with a recommended dose of 50 Gy to 54 Gy, in 1.8-Gy fractions, restricting the optic chiasm dose to 54 Gy (cited Harrabi et al. and Lo et al. as references 18 and 19, respectively).
