EURORDIS Rare Disease Day Event—Multi-Stakeholder Symposium24 FEBRUARY 2016

To mark the occasion of Rare Disease Day 2016, EURORDIS is holding a Multi-Stakeholder Symposium on Improving Patient Access to Rare Disease Therapies.
The event will take place from 24 - 25 February 2016 with the collaboration of a range of multi-stakeholder partners. It will directly address the pressing issue of improving patient access to rare disease therapies.  The event will include speeches from speakers including Vytenis Andriukaitis, European Commissioner for Health & Food Safety.
The opening session on 24 February will be live web streamed (link to be provided on this page at a later stage) and open to anyone with an internet connection.

We invite everyone to join the interactive session online: people living with a rare disease, their families and carers, as well as policy makers, industry representatives, researchers and health professionals.  
If you are participating online, you can send us your comments/ questions on the day via the live stream chat box or via Twitter using the hashtag #RareEU2016.
